Research Paper Proposal
When someone is involved with something they love to do, they will do anything to be part of it. For example to be involved in an arts program in school, students must be in good standing with their grades. It helps students to associate with other students and be social because, arts programs stress creativity, and being yourself. These are some reasons why arts programs should not be cut from schools. If a student is so passionate with being involved in music or art, and they know that they need to have good grades to be involved, then they will work harder to acheive there goal. Like sports or any other extra curricular activity after school, fine arts is a commitment. Whether it's play rehersal, choir, or an art show, there is much need for commitment and cooperation. The students involved are put on such tight shedules for these groups that they must find a way to keep organized and get their school work done. This is why arts programs should not be cut from schools.

Music Memior
We took our places on stage. Thirty two very nervous high school students were getting ready for what was the most exciting experience of our high school careers. The curtains were closed but, we could here the audience cheering and awaiting our performance. I was standing front row in the center with my eyes closed waiting to feel the rush of performing. The curtains went up. I opened my eyes as the spot lights shined over all of us. The conductor prepared the band. I heard the first note on the piano as the crowd awaited to here me sing my solo. I began singing and the notes poured out of my vocal chords so smoothly.
This was the one place in the world i felt to most comfortable: A stage. The place were i could portray something beautiful. Being involved in music has helped me to really come out of my shell. Whether I was acting out a scene from a broadway musical or being part of a group that came together to produce a wonderful show. Some people feel a rush when skydiving or on a rollercoaster. I feel the same rush, not in the way were i'm plunging to my death, but in the feeling i get when fifty people are on stage singing a song. It is obvious that everyone has a different voice. Everyone has different tambors, but the artform is when those fifty people with there fifty different voices come together and unite to create a beautiful sound which is music. Showchoir had to be my favorite part of my career in music so far. Showchoir is a choir who put together a compilation of five or six songs that revolve around the same theme. This theme is then portrayed by acting out these scenes through song and dance.
During my senior year of high school was the year were showchoir was my life. I was dance captain, i had the opening solo for our show, younger members of the group looked up to me for advice and suggestions. Whenever we went to competitions, members and intructors of other groups knew who I was. Not because they knew me my whole life, but because they recognized my love for the artform and dedication that I had towards my group.
Showchoir competitions are not competitive in the way a sports team would be, were all they do is put their team on a pedestal and every other team is the enemy. Showchoir groups are very supportive of each other at competitions because they know how much hard work and dedication each group goes through when putting together there show. This is why there is always a sense of unity and good sportsmanship at competitions.
In short, showchoir was one of my personal experiences with music and artform. Only someone who works with a group at the beginning of a season and watches it grow, sees the show come to life can truly say they know and understand the hard work and dedication it takes to be part of a group like this.

How online companies get you to share more and spend more
This article was pretty intersting. It is also actually very true. i didn't realize it before but, a lot of online companies do try and scam you. I have always bought products online from books to clothes and other things, and I was always a sucker for those deals that said, free shipping with an order of fifty or more. If i only needed twenty five dollars worth of products i would spend double just to get free shipping. When you actaully think about it, it's pretty stupid, but this happens everyday when people buy things online. Companies make you think that your saving money when in actuality you spend the same or even more money.

My hometown was an awesome place to grow up. There are parks and playgrounds on almost every corner.
My sister's style is quite unique. She doesn't care about name brands. she just puts things together.
My math teacher sophomore year was horrendous. He would talk about his personal life the entire class and I never learned anything.
The room seemed very fancy. The way the big long curtains fell from the high windows made the ambience of the room rise.

Rhetorical Analysis
From an 8track, to a cassette player, from compact discs to mp3s, these are all audio products that have evolved and changed the way people listen to music. With each and every advancement that the audio industry has made, the sound quality of the products have surpassed there priors models. The ads also have advanced with each product they create.
The image in actuality portrays a miniature string quartet playing a song inside a person's ear. The image does not show the entire ear because the focus of the image has to be the quartet. It catches people's eyes because in real life it is not normal to see actual people inside someones ear doing anything. If one looks at the bottom left hand corner there are three letters reading RCA. This is a logo for a sound company that produces and sells audio products such as speakers, radios, headphones etc. It leads me to believe that the quartet inside the person's ear is shown to compare the sound of the audio products RCA produces, to the natural and full sound someone gets when hearing a live instrument.
There is so much work when making advertisements for these products. Whether it's a commercial on the television or an ad in the local paper, the producers try there best to put themselves in the consumer's shoes and make what the people want. The best possible sounding audio devices then can make.

My Theme Proposal!
Music to me has always been something i love doing. Any type of art that enables someone to express themselves really interests me. The arts really show who a person is. Not only on the outside but the person's character as well. I feel that this topic would be great for me because music surrounds many aspects of a person's life and plays a huge role in the world. Music unites people and nations. To me music is everything. The originality of music let's people feel a range of emotions. Different types of music make people feel certain ways. There is no particular way to setup or create music. There are no rules. Music comes from inside a person depending on how they are feeling. The world is musical. Not so oblivious that there's a band on every corner of the street, but in the way that isn't very noticeable unless you have an ear for music. For example a busy city street with the rumbling of car motors is like the steady beat of drums. The car horns from angry drivers and like the brass section in a big jazz band. Even the simplicity of pedestrians walking on the sidewalks having conversations are choirs with different tambors and harmonies. We don't notice these things because we are always so busy in a busy world, but if we step back and listen, the music is there.

"Forget Goofing Off"
I think the main idea of this article was to keep kids out of trouble during recess. Recess is a time for children to have a break from schoolwork. The reason this school enforced a recess coach to make organized activities during recess is probably to keep the children out of trouble. I beieve that if children do not have a structured activity, they will go searching for things to do. most of the time they will get in trouble during these acts.
