Rhetorical Analysis

From an 8track, to a cassette player, from compact discs to mp3s, these are all audio products that have evolved and changed the way people listen to music. With each and every advancement that the audio industry has made, the sound quality of the products have surpassed there priors models. The ads also have advanced with each product they create.

The image in actuality portrays a miniature string quartet playing a song inside a person's ear. The image does not show the entire ear because the focus of the image has to be the quartet. It catches people's eyes because in real life it is not normal to see actual people inside someones ear doing anything. If one looks at the bottom left hand corner there are three letters reading RCA. This is a logo for a sound company that produces and sells audio products such as speakers, radios, headphones etc. It leads me to believe that the quartet inside the person's ear is shown to compare the sound of the audio products RCA produces, to the natural and full sound someone gets when hearing a live instrument.

There is so much work when making advertisements for these products. Whether it's a commercial on the television or an ad in the local paper, the producers try there best to put themselves in the consumer's shoes and make what the people want. The best possible sounding audio devices then can make.

  1. Your second paragraph here is the strongest because it has the most specific info (though here too I think you could give a more detailed description, which emphasizes the tight closeup and how the shot is framed).

The first and last paras. fill like filler (some of that is OK for intro/conclusion). You don't really mention target audience or whether/how the ad is effective. Writing overall seems quite competent though!!
